So I recently started going to design school to learn all that entails to be a fashion designer. So far I am really loving it, though it is not as easy as I thought at first but (challenge accepted-insert barney stinson’s voice 🙂 :-D) I will be sharing with you the outfits I make over this period am in class.

First off I made this short kitenge + chiffon dress which I just wore to church today #sundaythings

So am pretty petite so when making this dress I put alot of gathers to give the illusion that am some what big 🙂

I Loooooove weddings, and all the glamour that surrounds the whole event. We were priviledged to do the bridesmaids dresses at Maureen’s wedding which was on 27th September 2014 at the Taiyanna Gardens Kiambu Road.

I arrived at the venue as the couple were exchanging the vows and immediately I spotted the lovely ladies in their gorgeous outfits.

After the vows we got a short photo session where I got the chance to take afew photos of the bridesmaid.

1. The lovely maid of hounor in her purple maxi chiffon dress with a hint of kente

 

2.  The ladies were allowed to choose their dress design and length so one of the ladies opted to do a short dress as opposed to a long one but she still pulled it off. 🙂

3. These two ladies opted to do the off shoulders chiffon dresses with kente belts, I must say they look amazing and their smiles awesome 🙂

4.As for these two they opted to have the kente on the upper part of their dresses and the lower half to be the flowing yellow chiffon beautiful is all I can say

Bespoke Fashion Event

It was a lovely event

Top Events Kenya.

It was a another fashionista day out at the Michael Joseph Centre during the  Bespoke Fashion Event where corporate world met the universe of couture.

Showcasing their designs in the collage and fashion and entertainment, included designer Eva Owiti, an upcoming designer and owner of Wilkinta Ajan her fashion House. Her afro-street-pop style had eyes following with nodes of approval.

Achie Otigo  a celebrity fashion designer who has dressed the likes of Wahu, Avril, Stevens Muendo (pulse editor), and Gabu (P-UNIT) demonstrated what dressing a celebrity takes. Achie launched also her line that evening.

In addition to this, Benson M entertained the audience with acoustic music and poet Mufasa caught the ears with very sweet poems. The show was organized by The Bespoke Event company and was hosted by Samora Odero.
